Terms of service
Last updated 19 October 2026
These terms apply when a school ("you") uses EduFern ("we"). By registering a school or signing in, you accept them. Questions: hello@edufern.com.
1. The service
EduFern provides online school management software. The modules and limits (students, staff logins, branches, storage) of your plan are shown on the pricing page and in your account.
2. Trial, plans and payment
- A plan may start with a free trial. At the end of the trial the plan continues only when it is paid.
- Plans are paid monthly or yearly in advance. Prices are shown before taxes; GST is added where it applies.
- An invoice is issued for every payment. If a payment is overdue, access may be limited until it is paid.
- You can move to another plan at any time. Prices may change at renewal; we tell you before they do.
3. Your data
The information you enter remains yours. We use it only to provide EduFern, as described in our privacy policy. You are responsible for having the right to record the information you enter, for example the consent of families where the law requires it.
4. Accounts and security
- Each person uses their own login and keeps their password private.
- Your administrators decide who may sign in and what each role may do.
- Tell us at once if you think an account has been misused.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use EduFern to send unwanted messages, to store unlawful content, or to try to reach data that is not yours. We may suspend an account that does so.
6. Availability and support
We work to keep EduFern available at all times and announce planned maintenance in advance. Support is available by e-mail at hello@edufern.com.
7. Ending the service
You may stop at the end of any paid period. Before your data is deleted you can export it. We may end the service with notice if these terms are seriously broken.
8. Liability
EduFern is provided with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
